Oops!! I re-did it...

Hi to all. Yesterday we finally came up with the form of the song (Memoria Phonografica). At last. The song now has a very different feel. It has a catchy dance beat, very cool, very fun to play. The drum beat changed completely on the choruses and the guitar riffs as well as the bass. Now it's ready for Rey Torres (drummer). Did also a little sound designing with the Amplitube® Plug-in and the keys track. It came out very good. It makes the song sound very full and big. I used my Fender P-bass and it sounded incredible. Ignacio used the Bogner combo amp and an American Fender Stratocaster guitar courtesy of our friend Alcides Figueroa. It also sounded amazing. Well, the song sounds like its gonna be a HIT! I hope it does become a one.

Earlier in the day we were working some Bgvs for a song that will be on a christian record on which Julissa (christian singer from Dallas, TX) is one of the singers. The bgvs were Aby Hernandez, Keren Rodríguez, and Eliscamir Ramírez. They did very good but it left me with a very important question (I think) and that question is, why do christians keep on redoing the same songs over and over again? This song is called "Paz en la Tormenta"
and I've already heard it by a few christian artists. It's like they ran all out of ideas, or they're to busy to sit down and write new songs, OR they're to lazy to do it (remember that's just me thinking). I don't know what it is, I wish I new, but I'm a bit concerned by it, and pissed off too!
Today was another story. Had an appointment with Alber Rodríguez (client/friend) to edit, pre-mix, and prepare for mixing all the songs (original songs) from his project, Christian band "Sus Pies". I thought it was going to take two to three hours but it took us close to eight hours. We did good. Albert was happy with the outcome. Very cool guy, very down to earth. After I finished doing that I was done for the day.

There's a lot of stuff in my head that I want to talk about regarding what I wrote earlier in the post, yeah, the redoing of songs, the lack of originality, laziness, and stuff like that... I'll put together my thoughts and share with you my views..

Take care everyone...

PS.--haven't forgotten about the "Third world factor" topic. I'll get to that also soon...
Have a nice day everybody!!

Enjoy the clips...
