Not quite what we had planned for today..

Well, today I didn't get to do what I had planned for the day. Got to the studio around the same time I came yesterday. I was gonna track the bass for "Memoria Phonografica", but when Ignacio got to the studio, almost an hour after I had arrived, he decided he wanted to track some delay effects to the song "Something is bound to happen", so, that's what we started to do. Recorded five takes of noises and effects, and after that Ignacio started cutting, pasting, moving, deleting, applying delay and listening. Rey Torres arrived to the studio to track the drums but there was no luck for him today. Once you start to do something its hard to put it on hold to do something else. When Ignacio finished editing there was a ton of tiny pieces of guitar parts that we had to choose from to make the song work better. That kept us busy for the rest of the afternoon until 4:00pm. Had to stop 'cause I had another client/friend coming to the studio, Albert Rdgz from the band "Sus Pies". With him I had to do pretty much the same thing, cut and paste. I edited a song that was 6 minutes long and trimmed it to 4:38. It was kind of tricky but pulled it off. It feel awesome when you get stuff done.

Today was another productive day, Rock'n'Roll!!

Enjoy the clips....
