Today's progress.

Hello again. Today I started to work on Ignacio's tracks @ 3:00pm. We re-tracked the guitars for "Memoria Phonográfica" but now with an awesome piece of gear that my friend Alcides Figueroa lent Ignacio. I don't know the model but it is a Bogner combo. It sounds incredible. Now the song is going a different direction (in a good way). Came up with a couple of bass lines for the song but I'm still working on them. I like what I'm hearing but I think it needs a little more work. Tomorrow during the morning we will continue to tweak the song a bit to leave it ready to track real drums next week. Rey Torres will be tracking them with his new Gretsch drum kit. We already used it to record some tracks for my project (of which I'll talk on other post) and for Jorge Laboy's upcoming cd. It has a great sound and I'm sure it will work for Ignacio's songs.
Early afternoon (around 1pm or 2pm) Alcides and I will analyze some sessions and prep them for mixing. Bob St. John will mix it. We'll also track a new song for Alcides. As for the song "Something is bound to happen" its out for mixing. Rock'n'Roll!!!!

Well, now I'm gonna get some rest to have my mind clear tomorrow and come up with great ideas.

Enjoy the clip.... turn the knob down a bit for this one, its a bit loud.....
