OK, today I woke up a bit late, 8:20am. Maybe that's not that late for some of you, but for me, I'm used to getting out of bed around 5:30 to 6:00am everyday and when I oversleep around 7:30am. My daughter Alanis had guitar lessons @ 9am so I was running a bit late and that is the reason why I didn't continue yesterday's post this morning.
After the guitar lessons I went to pick up my new iPhone 3G S but they had ran out of it. OK, I know what you're thinking, no, I don't have money to spare, it's just that I got my connections and they hook me up all the time. They told me that possibly today they receive a couple of iphones throughout the day and that they would call me to let me know.
Now back to yesterday's day at the studio. The clip that you saw on the earlier post is of Ignacio, Rey, and me jamming the song "Memoria Phonografica". We already recorded the parts of the song and a bass but still thought it was a good idea to play it along. So that's what we did after a couple of hours of working around "Defeat", editing, and sound designing we got down to it and started jamming for around an hour. It always feels different when you play it for the first time. Not the same as programming parts. We had fun for that hour (that's a real happy hour), then had to leave.
Monday we will resume the work on Ignacio's stuff. You friends have to stay tuned to the blog!!
