Firmeza sessions 2.

Hello everyone. Continuing working with christian group Firmeza. Lots of work. Almost all the songs completed. Moving on to the Bgvs (backround vocals), it was challenging for the singers 'cause they all have strong voices and it was hard for them to sync together. It took some time but they finally pulled it off. The first song was the hardest one for them because it had alot of parts and many tracks of vocals. After the first song was done the other ones were a bit easier to record. For those who know about recording, used the Neumann U87 trhough the Avalon 2022 pre and a cent of compression with the Avalon 2044 (he he he....). They came out pretty good. Five tracks done, two more to go, then the lead voxes.

The food has been incredible. Lots of BBQ chiken with sweet potatoes, wheat rice and bacon, lasagna, the famous "pastelon". When it comes to eating, these guys mean serious business (ha ha ha...)

Saludos a todos. Continuando con los trabajos del grupo cristiano Firmeza. Mucho trabajo. Casi todas las canciones completadas, por lo menos la parte de los músicos. Comenzaron a trabajar con los coros de las canciones. Fue retante para los cantantes del grupo debido a que como cada uno de ellos tiene voz potente le es un poco complicado acoplarse. Tomo unas cuantas horas pero el producto final fue exelente. La primera canción que hicieron fue la más complicada por que tenía muchas partes y muchos canales de voces. Las otras canciones fueron mas fáciles de trabajar pues ya los coros se habían acoplado mejor.

Para aquellos que conocen un poco de grabación, usé un Neumann U87 para grabar los coros através de un Avalon 2022 y un pelito de compresión con el Avalon 2044 (un poquito... he he he...). Al final todos los coros quedaron muy bien.

La comida ha sido espectacular también. Mucho pollo BBQ con batatas y yuca, unos cuajitos que pedí para mi nada mas que estaban brutales, lasagna, arroz integral con tocino pollo al vapor y pastelón. Con la comida estos muchachos no juegan. Seguimos informando.
